Job summary

The Victorian School Building Authority, part of the Department of Education, is seeking a Program Advisor in the Asset Assessments Unit to support the Rolling Facilities Evaluation and Annual Contracts programs to ensure safe, sustainable learning environments.

You will analyze data, prepare dashboards and reports, coordinate information across teams and stakeholders, and help improve project management practices within the division.

Qualifications

• Stakeholder management experience is essential
• Facilities management knowledge is desirable
• Understanding of government processes and working in a compliance, governance or delivery-focused environment

Responsibilities

• identify, coordinate, produce and maintain reports, briefs, dashboards, presentations, meeting papers and other documentation to support program delivery, governance requirements and effective decision-making by VSBA Executive, the Department and Government
• analyse data to articulate trends, provide rationale for variances and develop recommendations for embedding insights from analysis to drive action
• work collaboratively across the VSBA and broader Department to manage information and processes across the portfolio, acting as a key point of contact for multiple teams and stakeholders
• Maintain project registers for risks, issues, decisions, dependencies and actions, and ensure records are managed in accordance with departmental policies and information management requirements
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate requests for information and support communication and consultation activities
• Contribute to improving project management practices, templates, systems and business processes within the division
