Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a Principal Asset Manager to lead the Asset Strategy & Planning Team in Sydney. The role will drive delivery of the Asset Management Policy and Strategy for a portfolio valued in the billions and direct asset planning and revaluations across the council.

As a senior leader, you will support executives, coordinate the Asset Improvement Action Plan, and oversee the organisation-wide asset lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive asset management experience with large public sector assets.

• Implementation of Council's Asset Management Policy and Asset Management Strategy, including coordination of asset management plans and asset revaluations across Council.
• Supporting Executive Managers and asset teams in delivering the asset lifecycle and coordinating the Asset Improvement Action Plan.

Job description

Title: Principal Asset Manager, TRP Contract - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

Total Remuneration Package starting from $186,982.40 - $200k + p.a. (based on qualifications, skills and experience)

Our opportunity:

The key focus areas of this role include:

1) Implementation of Council's Asset Management Policy and Asset Management Strategy, including the coordination and oversight of the development of all asset management plans and asset revaluations across Council in conjunction with Council's various Asset Managers.

2) Supporting relevant Executive Managers and associated asset teams in delivering against all aspects of the asset lifecycle including optimisation, and coordinating the delivery of our Asset Improvement Action Plan.
