Job summary

The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is seeking an Assets Senior Officer to optimise asset management using technology and best practice. You will support planning, reporting, and decision making across Buildings, Roads, and Marine assets while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure sustainable asset management and informed investment choices.

Ideal candidates will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering or Asset Management, strong analytical abilities, and experience with

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering or a relevant Trade with a focus on Asset Management.
• High level knowledge of a Strategic Asset Management System and its application within Govt.
• Experience administering an Asset Information Management System, preferably Siemens Assetic.
• Ability to develop and maintain Asset Management Plans and prepare clear documentation, reports and presentations.
• Experience in condition assessments and maintenance/renewal contract execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Asset Information Management System for the asset portfolio including Buildings, Roads, Carparks, Marine Structures and Open Space Assets.
• Provide planning and technical input into asset management systems and supporting processes.
• Support the Asset Manager to ensure coordinated asset management across the organisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective infrastructure and financial planning.
