Sydney Water is looking for an Asset Data Specialist in Parramatta with hybrid work flexibility. You will create and update asset and spatial data across land ownership, buildings, infrastructure, and GIS, following management standards.

Ideal candidates hold tertiary qualifications in information management, engineering, IT, or related fields and have experience with Maximo, Smallworld GIS, and EDMS. Strong data governance and BI skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems and processes, preferably Maximo/Smallworld GIS/EDMS.
• Knowledge of asset data management to support business processes.
• Ability to foster innovation and training for asset information lifecycle management.
• Proficient in MS Office and Power BI or similar visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify asset/spatial data aligned to asset information requirements and standards.
• Ensure asset information management services meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Execute, monitor, and adapt processes for timely and effective service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet needs.
• Participate in process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and risk management.
• Create, modify, and manage asset/spatial data according to standards and policies.

• Create and maintain asset and spatial data in our various systems
• Based in Parramatta with flexibility to work hybrid
• EA 11 (38 hours) - $121,315.89 + super pa

About the role:

Help Sydney Water deliver world class services and help make the lives of over four million customers better by joining our team as an Asset Data Specialist.The role involves creating and updating various types of asset and spatial data, including land ownership, buildings, infrastructure, and geographic information, following specific management standards

What you will be doing:

• Create and modify asset and /or spatial data aligned to asset information requirements and standards
• Ensure asset information management services meet agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
• Execute, monitor, and adapt processes for timely and effective service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations.
• Participate in process and system improvements to enhance business efficiency and risk management.
• Create, modify, and manage asset and spatial data according to standards and policies.

About You:

Ideally you will hold tertiary qualifications in information management, engineering, information technology, or related discipline.

• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems and processes – ideally with Maximo, Smallworld GISand, Enterprise Drawing Management System (EDMS) or similar
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset data, and information management to support business processes and implement ongoing improvements.
• Ability to foster innovation, training and knowledge retention for asset information lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and Power BI or equivalent visualization applications.
