Job summary
Australian Venue Co. is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager / Duty Manager for Cleveland Sands to lead frontline operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
You'll partner with the Venue Manager to manage food, beverage and gaming, mentor the team, and drive a culture of service excellence while maintaining presentation and compliance. Visa sponsorship may be available for high-potential candidates.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in hospitality.
- Hands-on leader who enjoys the floor with the team.
- Strong communication and people leadership skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience across food, beverage and gaming is highly regarded.
- Current RSA & RSG certificates (RMLV desirable or willingness to obtain).
Responsibilities
- Lead from the front to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Support day-to-day operations across food, beverage and gaming.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members.
- Drive a positive team culture and maintain high service standards.
- Ensure presentation, compliance and operational standards are met.
- Assist with rostering, labour management and stock control.
- Work closely with the Venue Manager to achieve goals.
