Job summary

Hospoworld Resourcing is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to join the Northern Beaches team in a bustling hospitality setting. Working with the General Manager, you will direct the floor, ensure service flow and guest satisfaction.

You will coach a team, manage rostering and control wage costs while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety. This hands-on role offers growth within a supportive group on the Manly corridor.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hospitality team in a busy venue.
• Confident floor presence and approachable leadership style.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise changes in plans.
• Understanding of staffing costs and efficient venue operations.

Responsibilities

• Run organised, energetic shifts and keep service moving smoothly.
• Coach staff during service and develop emerging leaders.
• Assist rostering and adjust staffing to match expected trade.
• Monitor wage costs, wastage and use of complimentary items.
• Handle guest feedback with warmth and practical solutions.
• Maintain presentation standards throughout the venue.
• Keep clear communication between floor, bar, kitchen and management.
• Build the team’s menu and beverage knowledge.
