Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our Charter Hall Office account team in Sydney CBD. This hub-based role offers hands-on exposure across a portfolio of six premium commercial office assets and the opportunity to learn from experienced site-based Facilities Managers.

This is a genuine learning role for someone with facilities, property, building operations or a trade, or transferable skills from hospitality, operations or maintenance coordination.

Qualifications

• Some experience in facilities, property, building operations or a trade ideal.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are valued.
• Organised and adaptable, able to manage multiple sites and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of 8 premium commercial assets across the Sydney CBD portfolio.
• Provide hub coverage across sites during leave periods and busy times.
• Coordinate planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, site inspections and compliance reporting.
• Support portfolio projects, minor works and operational improvement initiatives with documentation and follow-up.
• Build relationships with occupiers, contractors and Charter Hall stakeholders.
• Develop FM knowledge through hands-on experience and mentoring from senior Facilities Managers.
