Job summary

Bitumen Co in Brisbane's Northside seeks an experienced asphalt crew member to lay and finish asphalt, operate paving equipment, and drive trucks. You will run levels, set up jobs, and support a lean crew across driveway, carpark, and civil-scale work on a rotating schedule.

Ideal candidates have asphalt/civil experience, a White Card, and a current MR/HR licence or are strongly pursuing them. Overtime is paid, and the company provides trucks, fuel and tools on site.

Qualifications

Asphalt and civil experience preferred.
White Card (construction safety) required or preferred.
Current MR or HR licence strongly preferred or essential.
Tickets/VOC for bobcat/roller/paver preferred but not essential.
Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

Lay and finish asphalt to spec.
Run a level and set up jobs.
Operate paver, bobcat/skid steer and roller.
Drive company trucks (MR/HR preferred).
General crew work: rake, shovel, site setup, pack-up.
Look after plant and keep the job tidy.

Bitumen Co is a lean Asphalt crew on Brisbane's Northside. You'll run levels, jump on the paver, drive the bobcat, and move trucks when needed. One week it's driveways and carparks, next week it's bigger civil-style work.
