This is a hands-on territory sales role spanning Victoria and Tasmania, working closely with firearms dealers and outdoor sporting retailers. You will build trusted customer relationships, grow sales and market share, identify new business opportunities and ensure the portfolio is well represented in store. You’ll educate and demonstrate products, analyse sales and margin performance, implement seasonal promotions, support trade and sporting events and keep the Commercial Manager informed of competitor activity and changing market conditions. Regular travel across the territory is an important part of the role.
You are an experienced field or retail sales professional who understands how to earn credibility with dealers and turn strong relationships into commercial results. Ideally, you bring experience in the shooting, hunting, outdoor sporting or a closely associated industry, together with sound knowledge of relevant trade requirements and state regulations. You communicate confidently, present products well, are comfortable working with sales data and forecasts, and can manage a large territory with energy, autonomy and discipline. Above all, you are practical, genuine and committed to representing the Winchester name professionally.
