Job summary

Department of Families Fairness and Housing in Victoria seeks an Area Operations Manager for the After Hours Child Protection Service based in Box Hill. You will lead operational delivery, manage people and resources, and ensure budget, HR and performance targets are met to protect children and support families.

You will have a social work, welfare or psychology qualification with extensive experience in child protection or family welfare, plus a valid WWCC and drivers license.

Qualifications

• Must hold a social work, welfare or psychology qualification.
• Extensive experience in child protection and family welfare.
• Proven people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations across the area and ensure targets are met.
• Manage the program budget, resources, and staffing.
