The Victorian Government - Department of Families, Fairness and Housing is seeking an Area Operations Manager for the After Hours Child Protection Service in Box Hill. This full‑time role leads operational management across the program area, including people, budget, HR and performance management, and high‑profile case reviews to ensure safety and timely service delivery.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, hold WWCC, and bring a social work/welfare/psychology qualification

Qualifications

• Operational management across the program area, including people and resource management.
• Financial and budget management, HR and performance management of staff.
• Experience in child protection and/or child, youth and family welfare.

Responsabilités

• Lead practice to develop plans ensuring safety, stability and development for children and families.
• Ensure program targets and statutory responsibilities are met, with ministers' briefings as needed.
• Manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders, including government, industry and community.
