Job summary

AGnVET Services Group, via Darling Irrigation, is seeking an Area Manager to lead the Tasmanian region across Latrobe, Launceston and Scottsdale. You will drive commercial performance, oversee branch operations and champion safety and customer service while developing high-performing teams.

The role reports to the Business Unit Manager – Water, with a focus on delivering sales, margin and profit growth across multiple sites and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven success in multi-site leadership within agriculture, irrigation or related industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of delivering sales, margin and profit growth.
• Extensive experience in people leadership, coaching and performance management.
• Capability in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Strong relationship management with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Experience managing inventory, debtors and operational performance.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced manager to lead our Darling Irrigation branches across Latrobe, Launceston and Scottsdale. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager – Water, you’ll drive commercial performance and operational excellence while building a strong, customer-focused and safety-first culture.
