Job summary

Darling Irrigation, a leading irrigation provider in Australia, is seeking a proactive customer-focused individual to support the Dubbo branch. You will help customers identify the right irrigation, pump, pipe, fittings and water solutions while assisting day-to-day branch operations.

Responsibilities include handling sales, processing orders and invoices, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with service departments and other branches to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Strong retail sales and customer service experience.
• Experience in irrigation, water or agricultural industry.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with point of sale, inventory or ERP/financial systems.
• Positive, proactive approach with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and build ongoing relationships.
• Support Service Department, Project Sales and nearby branches.
• Assist customers with irrigation, pump, pipe, fittings, water and agricultural enquiries.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Process retail sales, orders and invoices using POS and financial systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktakes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team.

As a key point of contact for our customers, you’ll help them identify the right products and solutions for their needs while also supporting the day-to-day operation of the Dubbo branch.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service and building strong, ongoing customer relationships
• Support a wide range of internal stakeholders, including the Service Department, Project Sales, and surrounding branches and departments
• Assisting customers with irrigation, pump, pipe, fittings, water and agricultural product enquiries
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products and solutions
• Processing retail sales, customer orders and invoices using point of sale and financial systems
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stocktakes

About You

You will have:
