Job summary

Darling Irrigation, a leading irrigation solutions provider and a subsidiary of AGnVET Services Group, seeks a Customer Service Officer in Dubbo, NSW. You will be the primary touchpoint for customers, helping identify products and solutions while supporting day-to-day branch operations.

You’ll leverage strong retail and customer service experience, engage with multiple internal stakeholders, and contribute to stock management and order processing in a busy regional environment.

Qualifications

• Strong retail sales and customer service experience.
• Experience within irrigation, water or agricultural industry.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with point of sale, inventory or ERP/financial systems.
• A positive and proactive approach with good problem-solving skills.
• A current valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service and building strong, ongoing customer relationships.
• Support a wide range of internal stakeholders, including the Service Department, Project Sales, and surrounding branches and departments.
• Assisting customers with irrigation, pump, pipe, fittings, water and agricultural product enquiries.
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products and solutions.
• Processing retail sales, customer orders and invoices using point of sale and financial systems.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stocktakes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team.

As a key point of contact for our customers, you’ll help them identify the right products and solutions for their needs while also supporting the day-to-day operation of the Dubbo branch.
