AGnVET Services Group, via Darling Irrigation, is seeking an Area Manager to lead the Tasmanian region across Latrobe, Launceston and Scottsdale. You will drive commercial performance, oversee branch operations and champion safety and customer service while developing high-performing teams.

The role reports to the Business Unit Manager – Water, with a focus on delivering sales, margin and profit growth across multiple sites and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven success in multi-site leadership within agriculture, irrigation or related industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of delivering sales, margin and profit growth.
• Extensive experience in people leadership, coaching and performance management.
• Capability in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Strong relationship management with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Experience managing inventory, debtors and operational performance.

Responsabilités

• Lead regional strategy and execute branch business plans to achieve sales, margin and profit targets.
• Identify and convert growth opportunities across key markets and customer segments.
• Coach and develop Branch Managers, Operations Managers, Service and Sales teams to deliver high performance.
• Strengthen key customer and supplier relationships and elevate service standards.
• Oversee inventory, pricing, forecasting and working capital to optimise performance.
• Champion safety leadership and ensure WHS compliance across multiple sites.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice across the region.
