Job summary

Direct Chemist Outlet is seeking an Area Manager to support our Queensland network across metropolitan and regional stores. You will spend significant time in stores, traveling regularly including overnight stays, to drive performance and improve customer experience.

You will coach store teams, interpret KPI data, and implement new initiatives with the Support Centre to help stores grow and perform at their best.

Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy experience – essential.
• Experience leading stores, teams or multiple locations.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail KPIs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A current Australian driver’s licence.
• A genuine willingness to travel regularly across Queensland, including regional travel and overnight stays.

We’re looking for an Area Manager to support our Queensland network.

Our stores are spread across metropolitan and regional Queensland, so travel is a significant part of this role. You’ll spend much of your time out in stores and need to be genuinely comfortable with regular driving, regional travel and overnight stays when required.

We’re not looking for someone who simply walks through stores with a checklist.

We want someone who builds great relationships, spots opportunities, understands the numbers and rolls up their sleeves to help stores get better.

What you’ll do
