Architectural Technician | Revit
$85,000–$90,000 + Super | Sydney CBD

Strong in Revit and enjoy the technical side of architecture? Join a busy Sydney studio working across large-scale Class 2 projects.

  • Advanced Revit role
  • Large-scale Class 2 projects
  • Sydney CBD - Near Central Station
Some people naturally gravitate towards the technical side of architecture. They enjoy documentation, solving problems and working out how a building actually goes together.

That's the type of person I'm looking for here.

I've recruited for this Sydney studio for some time, and they're looking for an Architectural Technician who can come into a busy project environment and contribute without needing constant supervision.

You don't necessarily need the traditional architectural university pathway. What matters much more is your Revit ability, local project experience and understanding of Australian construction and documentation.

What will be doing
  • Produce detailed Revit documentation across large-scale projects
  • Work predominantly across Class 2 multi-residential and mixed-use
  • Develop and coordinate drawing packages
  • Resolve technical and documentation issues
  • Coordinate with consultants and project teams
  • Work autonomously alongside experienced Project Leads
What you'll get
  • Large-scale projects with plenty of technical complexity
  • Hands-on involvement in documentation and delivery
  • Experienced Architects and Project Leads around you
  • A strong pipeline of current and upcoming work
  • CBD studio within easy walking distance of Central Station
What they're looking for
  • Strong to advanced Revit skills
  • Several years of Australian architectural experience
  • Good knowledge of Australian construction, codes and regulations
  • Large-scale project experience, ideally Class 2 multi-residential
  • Strong documentation and detailing skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Architectural degree, TAFE or similar drafting qualification considered
  • Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (no sponsorship available) and currently residing in Australia
Role standouts

What I like about this role is that they're not getting hung up on titles or exactly how you entered the industry.

If you're technically strong, know Revit properly and have enough local experience to understand how projects are documented and delivered in Australia, I'd rather have the conversation.
