Job summary

Australian Drafting & Design in Sydney CBD is seeking an experienced Architectural Revit Drafter/Designer for a full-time contract position. The role involves working on complex projects within the pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors.

You will be responsible for preparing architectural documentation in Revit and coordinating with various engineering disciplines. Strong Revit skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Immediate starts are available.

Qualifications

• Strong Autodesk Revit skills are essential.

Australian Drafting & Design is seeking an experienced Architectural Revit Drafter / Designer for a full-time contract position with an established engineering and project delivery client in Sydney.

The role involves working on technically complex projects within the pharmaceutical, laboratory, cleanroom, advanced manufacturing and production sectors.

You will work closely with architects, engineers and other disciplines to develop coordinated architectural documentation in Autodesk Revit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural layouts and documentation in Revit
• Produce plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings
• Develop room layouts, Room Data Sheets and equipment layouts
• Coordinate equipment access and maintenance requirements
• Coordinate architectural documentation with mechanical, electrical and process disciplines
• Update Revit models from engineering and project mark-ups
• Assist with BIM coordination and clash resolution
• Prepare documentation through design and construction stages

About You

• Strong Autodesk Revit skills
• Architectural drafting, design or documentation experience
• Good understanding of construction documentation and spatial planning
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Australian working rights

Experience with laboratories, cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities, healthcare, advanced manufacturing or other highly serviced buildings will be highly regarded.

Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM coordination and technically complex building services would also be advantageous.
