Job summary

Cookson and Roberts is seeking an experienced Structural Revit Drafter/Technician to join our Upper North Shore team in Sydney. You will produce structural drawings and 3D Revit models for diverse projects across industrial, commercial, retail and education sectors, coordinating with engineers and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Structural Revit Drafter/Technician in building structures.
• Proven ability to produce structural drawings and 3D models in Revit.
• Strong understanding of structural detailing for steel and concrete.
• Excellent collaboration with engineers, architects and drafters.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, high-quality structural drawings and 3D models using Revit.
• Work across a diverse range of building projects (industrial, commercial, retail, education).
• Prepare detailed structural documentation for concrete, steel and other elements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects and other disciplines to ensure design alignment.
• Develop and maintain Revit models through project phases.
• Identify and resolve design coordination issues.
• Ensure drawings meet Australian standards and project requirements.

We are working with a fantastic, well-established, Australian-owned structural engineering consultancy based on Sydney's Upper North Shore, looking to welcome an experienced Structural Revit Drafter/Technician to their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, high-quality structural drawings and 3D models using Revit.
• Work across a diverse range of building projects, including industrial, commercial, retail and educational developments.
• Prepare detailed structural documentation for concrete, steel and other structural elements.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects and other disciplines to coordinate designs.
• Develop and maintain Revit models throughout various stages of project delivery.
• Identify and resolve design coordination issues.
• Ensure drawings and documentation meet relevant Australian Standards and project requirements.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support the successful delivery of projects.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Structural Revit Drafter/Technician within a building structures consultancy.
• Strong Revit skills and experience producing structural documentation.
• Experience working on building projects across one or more of the industrial, commercial, retail or education sectors.
• Good understanding of structural steel and reinforced concrete detailing.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other drafters.
• A positive attitude, good communication skills and a genuine passion for producing quality work.
