Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment is assisting an education provider in Sydney with an immediate 6-month Accounts Receivable Officer role focused on debt collection and recovery. The position requires strong debtor-ownership and the ability to negotiate payment plans with parents and guardians.

Qualifications

• Accounts Receivable and collections experience required.
• Ability to conduct sensitive conversations with parents/guardians.
• Proactive debt-reduction mindset and ownership of a debtor book.
• Experience with Synergetic and Power BI would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contacting parents/guardians regarding overdue school fees.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve queries.
• Own and monitor the debtors ledger and report progress.
• Prepare school fee invoices, adjustments and account maintenance.
• Allocate incoming payments and perform bank reconciliations.
• Investigate discrepancies to reduce overdue balances.
