Job summary

The Hills Shire Council’s Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre is seeking an experienced Permanent full-time Aquatic Duty Supervisor to join our team. You will help supervise bookings and lead lifeguards while delivering high standards of safety and customer service.

Ideal candidates hold a Pool Lifeguard & Aquatic Operations Certificate, First Aid and CPR, a Working with Children Check, and familiarity with NSW pool guidelines. The council offers training, benefits and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pool Lifeguard and Aquatic Operations Certificate.
• Must hold First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009).
• Must have Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrated understanding of NSW pool guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of pool bookings and centre programs.
• Provide and lead lifeguards in active pool supervision.
• Provide quality customer service by answering enquiries and directing patrons.
• Complete accurate record keeping including water quality testing, shift reporting and incident reporting.

Education

Pool Lifeguard and Aquatic Technical Operations Certificate

First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)

Working with children check

NSW Public Swimming Pools and Spa Pools Guidelines compliance
