Job summary

The City of Geelong is seeking a Centre Coordinator for Kardinia Aquatic Centre to manage day-to-day operations, oversee reception, customer service, aquatic programs and plant operations, and support staff development. You will work closely with the Centre Manager to maintain a safe, clean, customer-friendly environment and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification relevant to recreation program management or several years related experience.
• Provide First Aid Certificate.
• Current Working with Childrens Check.
• Pool Lifeguard Award.
• Pool Operators Certificate.
• National Police Check may be required during recruitment (funded).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Kardinia Aquatic Centre, ensuring high safety, service and presentation standards.
• Lead and support staff across reception, customer service, sales and aquatic programs.
• Oversee aquatic facility, plant and operational activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.
• Support employee development, performance, training and supervision.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, user groups, contractors and local businesses.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve customer service, operations and centre performance.
