Job summary

The City of Greater Geelong is seeking a Centre Coordinator for Kardinia Aquatic Centre in Geelong, VIC. This hands-on leadership role manages day-to-day operations, reception, customer service, programs, and plant operations while supporting staff and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Experience in leisure or aquatic facility management.
Proven ability to lead and develop staff.
Knowledge of aquatic programs and pool plant operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Kardinia Aquatic Centre with focus on safety, service and presentation.
Lead and support staff across reception, customer service, sales and aquatic program activities.
Oversee aquatic facility, plant and operational activities ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
Support employee development, performance, training and supervision.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, user groups, contractors and local businesses.
Identify opportunities to improve customer service and Centre performance.
