DFP Recruitment is seeking an APS6 Technical Advisor to provide expert clinical and technical advice on complex disability cases for a Federal Government client in Parramatta. The role focuses on interpreting evidence, identifying appropriate supports, and guiding staff to make consistent decisions in line with policy.

Key duties include offering written and telephone advice, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring colleagues while maintaining records and handling competing priorities.

Formación

• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making required.
• Experience interpreting evidence to support disability, hospital or aged care settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex information clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Review complex clinical information and provide evidence-based advice on participant supports.
• Provide clear, high-quality written and telephone advice.
• Coaching, mentoring and professional guidance to staff.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, partners and providers to support consistent decision-making.
• Manage sensitive conversations related to support and funding decisions.
• Maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities.
