Job summary

Steel Indesign Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Apprentice Sheetmetal Worker to join our Bankstown, NSW team. This full-time role offers on-the-job learning in welding and sheet metal fabrication for a small manufacturer of stainless steel benchtops, shelving and wall cladding.

You will assist with fabrication, operate metalworking tools, read drawings, and collaborate with the team to deliver high-standard results while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Interest in trades and welding/boilermaking.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and blueprints.
• Strong commitment to safety and learning in a hands-on environment.

Steel Indesign Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Apprentice Sheetmetal Worker to join our team in Bankstown, NSW.

This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the trades and services industry, with a focus on welding and Sheet metal Fabrication.

We are a small Manufacturer of Domestic and Commercial Kitchens, Bars and Restaurants manufacturing Stainless steel benchtops, shelving, wall cladding and refrigeration.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the fabrication and installation of sheet metal components
• Learning to operate a variety of metalworking machinery and tools
• Developing skills in welding
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
