Job summary

CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker for a permanent full-time role in South-Western Sydney. The workshop-based position focuses on fabrication of sheet metal components for high-end architectural projects.

You will read drawings, measure, cut, fold and form metal, and produce quality workmanship with attention to detail. Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with overtime opportunities and a competitive hourly rate of $45 plus super.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator.
• Able to measure, cut, fold and form sheet metal.
• Able to read and interpret workshop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant trade qualification highly regarded.
• Architectural metalwork, shopfitting or bespoke fabrication experience advantageous.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established architectural joinery and specialist manufacturing business working on high-end commercial, residential and bespoke architectural projects. They are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their workshop team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Role

• $45 per hour + Super
• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
• Overtime available
• Full-time permanent position
• Workshop-based role in South-Western Sydney
• Fabrication of sheet metal components for bespoke architectural projects

About You

• Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator
• Confident measuring, cutting, folding and forming sheet metal
• Able to read and interpret workshop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
