Georg Fischer (GF) invites eager learners to start an Apprentice Polywelder/Plastic Fabricator career with a brand-new, state-of-the-art workshop. We provide hands-on training, mentoring from experienced tradespeople, and a supportive team environment, with birthday leave and 1% superannuation benefits and free onsite parking.

You’ll learn plastic welding & fabrication for industrial piping systems, work on major projects in water treatment, mining, energy and infrastructure, read engineering

What You'll Learn

• Plastic Welding & Fabrication: Learn specialised welding techniques to build industrial piping systems.

• Major Industrial Projects: Work on piping systems used in water treatment plants, mining, energy and infrastructure projects.

• Technical Drawings: Learn to read engineering drawings and turn designs into real products.

• Machinery & Equipment: Learn to operate specialised welding machines, fabrication equipment and tools.

• Quality & Safety: Learn how to inspect your work, maintain quality standards and work safely.

• Workshop Operations: Gain experience in cutting, welding, assembling, testing and preparing products for delivery.

• Teamwork & Problem-Solving: Work alongside experienced tradespeople to develop practical skills and confidence.
