Job summary

HB Plastics Group PTY LTD on the Gold Coast is seeking a Plastic Fabricator to join a busy workshop. You’ll be trained to work with a range of plastic materials to make parts for construction, manufacturing and transport sectors.

No prior plastics expertise is required as training is provided. The role offers stable hours, on‑the‑job training, a friendly team, and long‑term opportunities in a growing national company.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication for steel, aluminium, cabinetry, boats or similar.
• Able to read specs and use hand tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced workshop is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cut plastics to size and shape as required.
• Weld, assemble and finish plastic components.
• Assist with general workshop and production tasks.

About the Role:

Join our busy workshop as a Plastic Fabricator. You’ll be trained to work with a variety of plastic materials, helping to make parts and products for construction, manufacturing, and transport industries.

You’ll be doing things like:

• Cutting plastics to size
• Welding, assembling, and finishing plastic components
• Assisting with general workshop and production tasks

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need to be a plastic expert — we’ll train you. But we’d love it if you have experience in:

• Fabrication (steel, aluminium, cabinetry, boats, or similar)
• Reading specs and working with tools
• Working in a fast‑paced workshop

Bonus (but not essential):

• Experience using routers, saws, or forming equipment

Training provided – learn a specialised, growing trade

Work with a friendly, supportive team
