Austchrome, part of Sime Darby Industrial Group, is offering an Apprentice Fitter Machinist position based in Mackay. You’ll work with qualified tradespeople while completing Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, gaining hands-on experience in CNC machining, mechanical fitting, assembly, and conventional lathes.

The program emphasizes safety, a competency-based learning path, and long-term career development within an established engineering and reclamation specialist.

About the Apprenticeship:

As an Apprentice Fitter Machinist, you'll work alongside qualified tradespeople while completing your Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
