Job summary

TAFE SA in Adelaide (Regency campus) seeks an Apprentice Liaison Officer to provide specialist case management for apprentices and their employers, guiding them through the apprenticeship journey.

You will work within an Education Program, manage a high caseload, and build relationships across the Australian Apprenticeship and VET sectors.

A WWCC is required; the role is full-time, fixed-term until 29 December 2028, salary ASO5 with super, based on Kaurna Country.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with others, prioritise and analyse complex information.

  • Support apprentices to navigate their journey with TAFE SA’s delivery arrangements.

The Apprentice Liaison Officer (ALO) provides a specialist case management approach to servicing Apprentice(s) and their Employers undertaking trade training through TAFE SA. Working closely within a dedicated Education Program the ALO will manage a high caseload of clients with a primary focus on the Apprentice/Student to support, connect and guide them in navigating their Apprenticeship journey alongside TAFE SA’s trade specific course delivery arrangements.

What You’ll Bring
  • Experience building and maintaining internal and external relationships across the Australian Apprenticeship and/or VET sector, including influencing change and supporting student/case management approaches.
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills, with the ability to provide tailored advice and work effectively with diverse client and student cohorts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercise sound judgement, manage competing priorities, drive continuous improvement, and analyse complex information to provide compliant, solution-focused recommendations.
What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
