Job summary

Waratah Group Services in Sydney is seeking an apprentice to start a career in Landscape Construction, learning hands-on on site with our experienced teams.

You will complete a Cert III in Landscape Construction via a one-day-per-week TAFE course and collaborate with managers to deliver high-quality commercial landscaping projects across Sydney. This role offers a structured development path and competitive wage package.

Responsibilities

• Working on site on various landscaping jobs around Sydney learning your trade.
• 1 day a week TAFE course to qualify as Cert III in Landscape Construction.
• Regularly liaising with your Manager/Supervisor.
• Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner.
• Role is project based on various sites across Sydney, working with the team to ensure targets are met.
• Management of a variety of landscape construction tasks.

Qualifications & experience

Any years’ experience in the Landscaping/Landscape Construction industry is a bonus

Experience operating range of commercial landscaping equipment (eg Excavators, skid steers, diggers etc) is a bonus

Ability to listen to instructions and carry out work as instructed

Encourage other team members to work effectively together.

Good time management and communication skills

The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace

A desire to provide a high quality commercial Landscape Construction service

Tasks & responsibilities

Working on site on various landscaping jobs around Sydney learning your trade
