Job summary

Australian Training Company is offering a full-time paid apprenticeship in landscape construction in Sydney's Western areas and metro. You will work alongside experienced landscapers on commercial projects, learning practical construction skills and safety practices while progressing toward a Certificate III Landscape Construction.

TAFE training is available at Richmond, Padstow or Ryde, with fee-free tuition and ongoing career opportunities after completion.

How about starting your career in the landscaping and construction industry with a well-established and growing Sydney-based landscape construction company? About The Role

Working alongside experienced landscapers and tradespeople, you will be involved in a variety of commercial landscape construction projects in Western Sydney and Sydney metro. This role suits someone who enjoys physical work and learning practical construction skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape construction including paving, retaining walls, fencing, turfing, planting and irrigation
• General labouring and site preparation
• Use of hand tools, power tools and machinery (training provided)
• Reading plans and following job specifications
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site
• Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality landscaping projects

Skills & Requirements

• Strong interest in landscaping, construction or a building trade
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Driver's licence essential upon commencement (or close to achieving)
• No previous experience required - ideal for school leavers, juniors or career starters
