Beasley's Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Engineering in Bundaberg is offering an Apprentice Hydraulic Technician role. You’ll work with experienced technicians to learn servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems across varied equipment and industries.

You’ll gain hands-on experience reading hydraulic schematics, using hydraulic tools, and building skills through the Elevate Apprenticeship Program with mentoring and a nationwide support network.

Qualifications

• Must have a Year 10 High School Certificate
• Interest in how machines work and how to fix them
• Good with your hands and comfortable with maths
• Careful and precise - details matter
• Clear communicator who enjoys working with people
• Motivated, reliable and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians to install, maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment
• Read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals
• Help diagnose and troubleshoot faults across hydraulic systems
• Assemble and disassemble hydraulic components
• Learn to use hydraulic tools and testing equipment and stock knowledge
• Participate in training to grow knowledge year on year

Beasley's Hydraulics has been on call for fluid power solutions since 1995 - from routine maintenance to emergency repairs to custom system builds. We're growing, and we need another Apprentice Hydraulic Technician to join our Bundaberg team. You'll spend your days working alongside technicians who've spent years in the trade the way it's best learned - on the tools, working through the problem in front of you. Servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, commissioning - you'll get exposure to all of it, across a huge range of equipment and industries.

As part of the Questas Group, Beasley's also gives you something a standalone workshop can't: access to a nationwide network of fluid power expertise, resources and a longstanding career - while still learning your trade in a local team that knows its customers by name.

You won't be figuring this out on your own. Through our Elevate Apprenticeship Program, you'll have a mentor in your corner, structured learning through the Elevate Academy, and a wider community of apprentices across Questas Group going through the same journey.

Your Responsibilities

• Work alongside senior technicians to install, maintain, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment

• Assemble and disassemble hydraulic components
• Build your skills with hydraulic tools and testing equipment, and learn the ins and outs of our stock — hoses, fittings, seals, and more
