Job summary

Aussie Fluid Power in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our workshop team. You will troubleshoot, repair, test and report on hydraulic systems, reading hydraulic schematics and providing onsite specialist support when needed.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Trade Qualification – Cert. III
• Read and understand hydraulic schematic diagrams
• Diagnose hydraulic faults using hydraulic schematics
• Repair, test and report on hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

• Carry out troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance on hydraulic equipment
• Interpret operating manuals and hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Perform duties in a busy workshop and represent the company onsite
• Maintain strong client focus and manage relationships with customers

Job description

Due to considerable growth across our business, we have fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our workshop team.

These positions will attract an hourly wage of between $60.00 to $65.00

About You

• Self-Motivated individual who appreciates the autonomy of being a technician.
• Ability to work alone providing onsite hydraulic specialist support.
• Tertiary Trade Qualification – Cert. III
• Read understand Hydraulic schematic diagrams.
• Diagnose hydraulic faults using hydraulic schematic.
• Repair, test and report on hydraulic systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication within business team and with external customer base.

Your Tasks

• Carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on a range of hydraulic equipment.
• Understanding and interpreting operational manuals, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Perform your role in our busy workshop.
• Represent the company onsite and deliver expected outcomes.
• Maintain a strong client focus and manage relationships accordingly.
• Identify value adding opportunities for End users where possible.
