Job summary

JBS Australia’s Riverina Plant in New South Wales is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join the Maintenance team on a full-time basis close to Leeton and Narrandera in the Riverina region. You’ll support plant assets in a beef processing environment and gain hands-on experience while completing on- and off-the-job training.

Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, you’ll work under tradespeople, attend TAFE as required and contribute to reliable plant operation.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude required.
• Demonstrated interest in the trade.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to work a range of shifts.

The JBS Riverina Plant is currently recruiting an Apprentice Electrician to join the Maintenance team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, you will provide support across the Plant to ensure the availability, reliability and capability of plant assets in a beef processing environment.

This is an outstanding opportunity to kick start your Apprenticeship with a global organisation at a local level close to home. We are open to receiving applications from candidates at any stage of their apprenticeship.

JBS Australia is the largest and most respected meat and food producer in Australia.
