Buslines Group in Orange, NSW, is seeking a first-year Apprentice Diesel Motor Mechanic to learn the service and repair of our bus fleet at Orange Depot. Immediate start available, with structured training and ongoing guidance from qualified tradespeople.

You'll develop hands-on skills while working in a clean, well-equipped maintenance facility and be supported to complete your qualification in your trade.

Competenze

• Interest in heavy vehicles and buses; self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Willing to work in a team environment and with support to complete apprenticeship.
• Completion of a relevant pre-apprenticeship course or trade work experience is advantageous.

The Role:

BuslinesGroup have 1st year apprenticeships for the trade of ‘Heavy Vehicle (Diesel)Mechanic’ at our Orange location.

Apprentices will learn to support the service and repair of our fleet of buses in line with best practice to ensure we operate in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Collaborating with the Asset team, you will develop skills sets that align to achieving your qualification in your trade.

What you bring:

In addition to having an interest in heavy vehicles and buses, you will be self-motivated with enthusiasm to learn. You would be willing to work and learn in a team environment and with support the drive and commitment to complete your apprenticeship term.

You will have some technical aptitude and be computer literate.

Completion of a relevant pre-apprenticeship course or trade work experience is advantageous, but not essential.
