Job summary

Hudson Building Co Pty Ltd in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is offering a full-time carpentry apprenticeship. You will work onsite with experienced carpenters, learning across all stages from framing and lock-up through to finish work like decking and cladding.

Qualifications

• Has genuine interest in carpentry and construction.
• Is punctual, ready to work and willing to learn.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Works well within a team and takes pride in their workmanship.
• Holds a White Card or is willing to obtain one.
• Has a driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred).
• Enrolment in a full-time apprenticeship with ongoing mentoring.
• Learn from experienced tradespeople who want to teach.
• Engages in renovations, extensions and new builds across projects.
• Friday coffee shout and regular team activities every 6 months.

Responsibilities

Job description

You'll be onsite early, ready to learn, and keen to get stuck in. Working alongside experienced carpenters and builders, you'll gain hands-on experience across all stages of residential construction. From framing and lock-up through to fix, fit-off, decking and cladding, no two days are the same. You'll be taught the right way from day one, developing the skills and confidence needed to become a qualified carpenter.
