Job summary

Camscott Developments Pty Ltd – Knoxfield VIC is seeking a qualified carpenter to join our small, dedicated team on a full-time basis. You’ll work across renovations and extensions, mainly in Melbourne's east and south-east.

As a carpenter you will frame, roof, and perform structural work from plans, coordinate with the project manager and trades on site, and ensure a tidy, safe work area. A Certificate III in Carpentry, own tools, and a current White Card are required, with additional tickets

Qualifications

• Qualified carpenter with Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent.
• Own set of tools and reliable transport.
• Current White Card and any relevant tickets (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Framing, roofing, and structural work on extensions and alterations.
• Second fix, lock-up and fit-off.
• Working from plans and engineering details.
• Liaising with project manager and other trades on site.
• Keeping the work area safe, tidy and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Framing, roofing, and structural work on extensions and alterations
• Second fix, lock-up and fit-off
• Working from plans and engineering details
• Liaising with our project manager and other trades on site
• Keeping your work area safe, tidy and compliant

About you

• Qualified carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification)
• Full set of own tools
• Own ute or reliable transport
• Current White Card and any relevant tickets (EWP, working at heights etc. an advantage)
• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in the finish
• Good communicator who works well in a small team
