Job summary

Precise in Sydney Olympic Park is seeking an Applications Support Analyst to bolster our IT team. You’ll troubleshoot, support business applications, run SQL queries and help manage service desk requests.

Reporting to the GM of IT, you’ll work between IT and the business, deploying changes, maintaining docs, and building user reports. If you enjoy problem solving and stakeholder collaboration, this hands-on role could be for you.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Application Support or Internal IT Support.
• Experience with service desk/ticketing systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Freshdesk or Salesforce.
• Experience writing SQL queries for reporting, investigation and data manipulation.
• Understanding of ITIL best practices for customer support.
• Strong application troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across a business.
• Ability to prioritise competing requests and manage your time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach to issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Providing application support and troubleshooting system issues.
• Managing and triaging service desk requests through to resolution.
• Supporting systems, user administration and security.
• Deploying application changes and completing post-change verification testing.
• Maintaining support documentation and processes.
• Developing user reports and alerts.
• Supporting application upgrades, data conversion and migration.
