Job summary

HAMBS is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our Adelaide team. You will provide technical support for our software systems, work with developers and end-users, and help improve our applications.

Ideal candidates have IT-related qualifications or equivalent experience, with solid knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and SQL, plus API testing skills using Postman/SOAPUI/Elastic Stack. Flexible onsite/remote work and strong customer service mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Tertiary IT qualification or relevant experience desirable.
• Proven experience in application support or similar role.
• Know-how of relational databases and SQL querying.
• Understanding of SDLC, QA, deployment and methodologies.
• Familiarity with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core.
• Experience troubleshooting APIs with Postman/SoapUI/Elastic Stack.
• Strong customer service mindset and ITIL familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers and internal staff per HAMBS processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to support business processes and improvements.
• Manage and resolve assigned support tickets per SLA obligations.
• Update customers on incident and service request status.
• Prioritise problems and investigate to resolve issues in apps/services.
• Document and close problems per procedures.
• Perform in depth functional analysis of tickets.
• Serve as escalation point for team work.
• Prioritise and diagnose incidents and requests per procedures.
• Troubleshoot, resolve or escalate tickets to other support teams.
