Job summary

National Rugby League is seeking an Application Analyst to support and optimise business applications across web, mobile and enterprise systems. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents and help drive improvements in user experience.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, develop knowledge resources, and provide user training to boost adoption and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in application support, help desk or technical support roles.
• Experience supporting web applications, mobile applications and enterprise business systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, marketing platforms and Microsoft 365.
• Understanding of authentication, user access management, application security and identity management.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management frameworks.
• Understanding of SQL databases, with the ability to perform basic queries for troubleshooting and investigation.
• Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
• ITIL Foundation certification, or similar service management qualification, will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support across web, mobile and enterprise business systems, including troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Monitor performance and drive optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate enhancements, deployments, testing and user acceptance activities.
• Manage application access, permissions, administration and security compliance.
• Log and track incidents through IT service management processes.
• Collaborate with Development, Delivery, Infrastructure, Security and Data teams to resolve complex issues.
• Develop and maintain knowledge articles, user guides and self-service resources.
• Provide training and guidance to users to improve adoption and self-sufficiency.
• Support vendor relationships and escalation processes.
• Contribute to planning, change management, and service improvement initiatives.
