Job summary

VaynerX in Sydney seeks a Director, CAIT & Social Commerce to shape and expand our creator and social commerce offerings in Australia. You will manage an agile, talented squad and collaborate with Client Partnerships, Strategy, Creative, and Media leaders.

This 12‑month contract requires deep experience in influencer marketing, creator relations, and multi‑channel campaigns, with hands-on TikTok Shop and affiliate programs, strong negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator relations, talent management, affiliate marketing, social commerce, or integrated agency work in Australia.
• Hands-on TikTok Shop strategy and affiliate execution strongly preferred.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with understanding of fees, rights usage, exclusivity, paid amplification, and budgets.
• Strategic and creative instincts balancing rigorous analysis with cultural relevance.
• Senior client counsel with presentation skills for C-suite stakeholders.
• Proven leadership to mentor and scale cross-functional teams in fast-paced agencies.

Responsibilities

• Drive integrated CAIT strategy: multi-channel creator, affiliate, talent, and social commerce aligned to client goals.
• Lead end-to-end social commerce, including TikTok Shop setup, recruitment, seeding, campaigns, and optimization.
• Architect talent partnerships: oversee casting, negotiations on fees, rights, licensing, and exclusivity.
• Translate campaign ideas into platform-native briefs while safeguarding brand safety.
• Manage team workflows, budgets, and agency scopes for profitability.
• Mentor CAIT team members across casting, strategy, contracts and content production.
• Foster APAC relationships with talent networks, agents, and regional leads.
• Lead CAIT pitch work for new business opportunities in Australia.
