Job summary

Kardex AutoStore is seeking a motivated Software Project Manager to lead our APAC team from Sydney. The role focuses on defining software functionality, coordinating with in-house developers and third-party providers, and delivering IT solutions according to specifications.

You will bring a strong WMS/intralogistics background, collaborate with sales, PMs, and clients, and develop standard WES descriptions. Travel to project sites is expected 20-30% as projects grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years experience in software management with WMS and intralogistics automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% for customer meetings or deployments.

Responsibilities

• Define software functionality for project scope and align deliverables with customers in workshops until signoff.
• Lead customer workshops to gather requirements and demonstrate software functionalities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and 3rd party providers to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.
• Develop and improve standard WES descriptions and documents.
• Provide technical leadership to software development teams and ensure quality standards.
