Job summary

Semgrep in Australia is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and value of our platform for a select group of customers. You will partner with customers to create growth plans, de-escalate churn risks, and represent customer voices in product improvements.

This remote role collaborates with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver executive reviews and ensure customer success, with a focus on DevSecOps, OWASP familiarity, and building long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (TAM/Account Manager/PM for a technical product)
• Deep understanding of developer workflows and build systems including CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins, Buildkite) and SCMs (Git, SVN, Perforce)
• Strategic thinker with strong customer empathy and ability to create growth plans and execute them
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence and influence
• Familiarity with Web Application Security concepts including OWASP Top 10
• Background or interest in DevSecOps or AppSec
• Engineering or technical degree from a four-year college or university

Responsibilities

• Host monthly check-ins with customers to understand successes and challenges
• Speak with technical stakeholders within customers and Semgrep
• Create personalized success plans to enhance platform value
• Partner with Sales for executive business reviews with practitioners and executives
• Collaborate with Tech Support and Product on bug tickets and feature requests
• Advocate for customer needs in product roadmap items
• De-escalate urgent issues to reduce churn risk
• Contribute to best practices and documentation to help customers use our products
