Job summary

Greenhouse, the leading Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem, is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to be the technical trusted advisor for the sales team. This role is remote in New South Wales, Australia, with 25–40% travel to support deals and customer implementations.

You will master Greenhouse APIs and integrations, curate compelling solutions, and collaborate across sales, product, and technical teams to drive value and close complex opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles in B2B SaaS.
• 5–7+ years of direct Sales Engineering experience.
• Strong sales acumen and a strategic understanding of the sales process.
• Adaptive, able to thrive in fast-changing environments.
• Foundational understanding of APIs, webhooks, MCP, AI and automation principles.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with bias for action.
• Internal drive to win, succeed and learn.
• Innate technical curiosity to understand how and why a system works.
• Strong, logical communication and active listening skills.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, or SQL.
• Experience in HR tech space is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical trusted advisor and strategic partner for the sales team on customer-facing presentations.
• Curate and present value-driven solutions tailored to complex customer needs.
• Master the technical capabilities, APIs, and integrations of the Greenhouse product suite.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand a prospect's sales processes and business pains.
• Collaborate across the business, acting as the hub between sales, product, product marketing and technical teams.
• Help build and refine the processes, metrics, and best practices for a team in transformation.
• Respond to RFI, RFP and security questionnaires as needed.
• Achieve technical mastery and become a go-to expert for the sales organization.
