Job summary

Greenhouse, a remote-first org, is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer in Australia (NSW) to support the sales team with technically grounded, value-driven solutions. This role is remote in NSW with 25-40% travel, reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Engineering.

You’ll partner across sales, product, and tech teams to drive deals and shape technical strategies. You will curate solutions, master the Greenhouse API suite, and lead discovery sessions to map customer needs to actionable

Qualifications

Experience in customer-facing roles in B2B SaaS.
5-7+ years of direct Sales Engineering experience.
Strong sales acumen and strategic understanding of the sales process.
Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced environments undergoing change.
Foundational understanding of APIs, webhooks, AI, automation and auth principles.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical trusted advisor and strategic partner for the sales team on customer-facing presentations.
Curate and present value-driven solutions tailored to complex customer needs.
Master the technical capabilities, APIs, and integrations of the Greenhouse product suite.
Lead technical discovery sessions to understand a prospect's sales processes and pains.
Collaborate across sales, product, marketing and technical teams.
