Job summary

Corpay Cross-Border in Sydney seeks a Director of APAC Financial & Regulatory Reporting to lead the region's regulatory reporting, controllership and governance. You will serve as the in-house expert on ASIC AFSL requirements, oversee month-end, quarter-end and statutory reporting, and partner with regulators, auditors and senior leaders to drive compliant, scalable processes.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, building a high-performing team and advancing automation

Qualifications

• Substantial regulatory-finance experience in financial services.
• Deep ASIC AFSL knowledge.
• Experience with Australian regulatory returns.
• Comfort engaging regulators, auditors and executives.
• Experience in regulated payments/fintech.
• Strong leadership across a distributed organisation.
• Willingness to build scalable governance and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory-finance reporting across APAC.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting.
• Advise senior leaders on financial implications of regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen governance, policies, processes and controls.
• Engage regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and coach a high-performing team.
• Drive automation to improve reporting quality.
• Own or lead engagement with regulators and audits.
