Job summary

Allied World is seeking a Senior Finance Leader to head the financial analysis team in Australia. You will partner with senior leaders to drive performance, forecast accurately, and provide strategic insights for governance and decision-making.

You will oversee regulatory reporting (AASB 17, APRA) and tax compliance, guide a high-performing team, and implement new accounting standards across the APAC region with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA designation with accounting/finance degree.
• Strong IFRS/AASB knowledge; IFRS 17 experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely reporting for Australia platform, including AASB 17, APRA, audits, tax, and ad hoc requests.
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance across Australia platform.
• Lead APRA regulatory engagement and implementation of new standards.
