Job summary

Securitas Australia is seeking a Security Design Manager to lead physical security system design and provide technical oversight for projects supporting our client’s global infrastructure portfolio across APAC. The role covers design, specification, implementation, and continuous improvement of security technologies including access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in physical security system design, security engineering, or similar discipline.
• Knowledge of access control, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and video surveillance systems.
• Experience supporting security solutions through project/construction lifecycles.
• Certifications such as PSP, CPP, PMP, or CSPM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, specification, and implementation of physical security systems and review designs from external vendors.
• Oversee security projects across the APAC region, including planning, budgeting, scheduling and quality outcomes.
• Drive process improvements, automation, reporting, and data-driven decision making for the security program.
• Act as trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders and translate complex concepts into practical solutions.
• Support incident response activities and reporting as required.
