Equinix seeks a Manager, Physical Security Enablement to lead the successful delivery and integration of physical security programs across new data centre developments, expansions and major customer initiatives throughout Asia-Pacific.

Reporting into the regional leadership team, this role combines program leadership, physical security expertise and stakeholder management to ensure security systems, processes and vendors are aligned through design, construction, installation, commissioning and

Qualifications

• Experience leading physical security programs in data centre or high-security environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction and commissioning projects.
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering, construction, operations and vendors.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Knowledge of physical security systems deployment in operations.
• Experience supporting new builds, expansions and commissioning.
• Experience working with security integrators, consultants and vendors.
• Understanding of project lifecycle from design to handover.
• Experience in highly regulated or customer-facing environments.
• Knowledge of business continuity, governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and integration of physical security programs across APAC data-centre builds.
• Collaborate with GDC, Data Centre Ops and Security Programs to embed security in delivery.
• Support readiness during design, construction, installation and handover.
• Identify and mitigate physical security risks across projects.
• Drive regional security practices consistency and standardisation.
• Lead multiple security enablement initiatives across locations.
• Work with contractors, consultants and vendors to deliver outcomes.
• Guide regional security teams supporting active sites.
• Influence cross-functional teams to meet security and customer needs.
• Escalate security incidents, risks and vendor performance.
• Provide leadership across access control, CCTV, intrusion systems and infrastructure.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, testing and acceptance.
• Manage security vendor relationships and maintenance.
• Lead SPOF and EOL assessments and remediation.
• Assist in root cause analysis and vendor escalation.
• Lead and develop a regional team based in Singapore.
• Foster collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor security professionals on regional programs.
